Liftbase your AI partner for fleet management

Maintenance costs are often one of the biggest blind spots in port equipment fleets. Most companies know what they spend in total. But many do not have a clear answer to questions like:

  1. How much does each machine really cost per operating hour?
  2. Which machines are quietly becoming too expensive?
  3. How much is preventive maintenance versus corrective maintenance?
  4. What are the tyre costs per machine type?
  5. And where are the real outliers in the fleet?

That is exactly what we are building with Liftbase AI.

What is Liftbase AI?

Liftbase AI is a maintenance intelligence platform for port equipment fleets.

The process is really simple:

You upload your maintenance invoices, service documents or cost records, and the system automatically connects the information to the right machine dossier.

From there, Liftbase AI builds a real-time dashboard showing:

  • Total maintenance cost per machine
  • Cost per operating hour
  • Preventive maintenance costs
  • Corrective maintenance costs
  • Tyre costs
  • Fleet averages per machine type
  • Outliers that deserve attention

Instead of looking at scattered invoices, Excel files or supplier statements, you get one clear overview of your fleet. Even your bookkeeper loves it!

Privacy and GDPR

We understand that maintenance invoices can contain sensitive or personal information.

That is why, before documents are processed in Liftbase AI, invoices are first stripped of personal data that is not relevant for the analysis. The platform is designed to focus on the technical and financial fleet data that matters: machine numbers, serial numbers, operating hours, cost categories, dates, suppliers and maintenance descriptions.

Personal information that is not needed for the fleet analysis should not be part of the dataset used by the tool. This allows companies to explore the benefits of AI-driven maintenance analysis while taking GDPR requirements and data minimisation seriously.

Why we are building this?

In the used equipment market, hours alone never tell the full story.

A machine with 12,000 hours can be in excellent condition.

A machine with 6,000 hours can be a financial headache.

The difference is often hidden in the maintenance history, the quality of repairs, tyre consumption, recurring failures and operator behaviour.

With Liftbase AI, we want to make that history visible, measurable and usable.

Not only for valuation.

But also for fleet management, replacement planning, budgeting and technical decision-making. And that’s where Heavy Cargo Lifters comes in, we can assist you every step of the way and make sure that, when you are ready to sell, your truck will be presented to the market with all maintenance history. This gives the potential buyer much more trust in purchasing your equipment!

We are now looking for 3 test customers

We are currently developing Liftbase AI further and are looking for three companies that want to help us test and improve the platform in a real fleet environment.

This could be interesting if you operate, manage or maintain equipment such as:

  • Reachstackers
  • Empty container handlers
  • Terminal tractors
  • Heavy-duty forklifts
  • Other port or logistics equipment

As a test customer, you would help us validate the system with real-world maintenance data and practical fleet situations.

In return, you get early access to the platform and a clearer view of your own fleet costs and have impact on the possible alterations!

What we are looking for

We are not looking for perfect data.

Actually, imperfect data is useful.

Invoices in different formats, missing references, multiple machines on one invoice, different languages, Excel exports, PDF files, supplier statements that is exactly the reality we are building for.

The goal is to make the system practical for real fleet owners and operators, not just for perfect test cases.

Interested?

If you would like to be one of the first three test customers for Liftbase AI, please send me a message or leave a comment below.

We can start with a short call, look at your fleet setup and see whether your company is a good fit for this test phase.

I am especially interested in speaking with fleet managers, terminal operators, equipment managers and companies that want better control over their maintenance costs.

Because in port equipment, the most expensive machine is not always the one with the highest hours.

Sometimes it is the one whose costs were never properly measured.
